The Blandford Fashion Museum, formerly Cavalcade of Costume Museum, has opened a new exhibition of bridal wear, which includes dresses held at the Museum which have not been shown to the public previously. The exhibition is divided up into a series of pretty scenes with an explaination of the social history of each scene to accompany the dresses and comprises some 20 wedding outfits and their accessories dating from the 1870's to the 1960's.

The dresses are both beautiful and the tales intriguing, If you have not visited our Museum previously, please try to come this year and if you have been before come again to see our lovely new exhibition.
