Our collections depict all aspects of the history of Blandford and its district, from prehistory to 21st C. Special exhibits include an archaeological time-line; Victorian playroom; exact-scale, working model-railway of Blandford Station; Victorian kitchen (project of 16 to 20-year-olds of Blandford Museum’s “Young Roots”); 19/20th C. wartime events, local heroes, etc.

Saturday Family club for younger children meets monthly; programmes and outreach sessions for schools can be arranged; and adult courses and workshops are available on subjects relating to Archaeology.
