The large wide based collection reflects the history of the town with geology and early history galleries, The Link – dedicated to industrial and craft exhibits, the Gardner Room with the British Library ‘Turning the Pages’ The Sherborne Missal and rotating exhibitions.

The museum has an ever expanding education programme and a selection of loans boxes. Out of hours visits for schools and groups can be arranged.
