Wareham Town Museum tells the story of the geology, archaeology and history of the Wareham area, and has a special collection concerning TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) who lived nearby. This is the subject of a display, and we also have a display on the major archaeological excavations at Bestwall, east of the town.

The museum is supported by Wareham Town Council and is run by volunteers.
